All of this is absurd - it is high time that "Physical Education" is completely removed from all public schools and universities. It has no place whatsoever in academic settings. It is a barbaric throwback to human's prehistory and is a complete waste of taxpayers and tuition payers money. Children and teenagers have more than ample opportunities to partake in physical activties in their neighborhood facilities and parks after class is over and during weekends and vacations. It is absolutely astounding to me the amount of money and emphasis placed by so-called educators on sports. As a geek in school, I was constantly hounded, harassed and humiliated by physical education teachers and their beloved jocks. All these years later I can still hear the phys ed teachers laugh and encourage the monsters they created to make our lives a living hell. Even the regular teachers looked the other way when we were beat up in the halls and our books and homework were thrown around. If I were the LeRoy School Superintendent, it would give me great pleasure to immediately terminate the entire physical education department, starting with coach Brian Moron.
