Mr. Jim Falk you have no idea what you are talking about. This plane was being rebuilt by my brother for the owner. My brother was the pilot who was doing a high speed taxi test with no intent to fly. Please refrain from commenting on information you have no knowledge of. Mr McCabe, I hope your brother will be ok. I commend him for his efforts and hope that the plane will be able to get repaired and completed.
Mr Falk, not everyone who flies is a spoiled rich person. We are adventurous souls who have the courage and intensive training to do something that all too few people have done. You are so quick to pass judgement, I wonder if you have ever experienced the joy of flight. Your attitude is adolescent and uninformed. Do you have any idea just how stupid your comment was?

If your not a pilot, put a lid on your comments. Pilots go through a lot to earn the privilege to fly. A unexpected cross wind could have caught him off guard. Like Craig said. Shut up!
