They should take their time in investigating the Ride of Steel this time around. The ride should be closed through to the end of the season at least. Are they waiting for another tragedy to happen?

There is nothing wrong with the ride. It happens...its like a car getting a flat tire ...its mechanical and these things will happen ...as long as the peoples lives were not in danger i'm good with it. I love this ride and go onit all the time and will continue going on it. I think this was jsut a case of wear and tear !!!

The man that passed away a few months ago died because of operator error not the ride itself. The chain is supposed to break. All roller coasters with lifts have non-electrical anti-rollback devices. The manufacturer probally has a suggestion to how many uses until it needs replacing but sometimes they can break earlier or later than that.
