A Nigerian soccer player sentenced to 11 months he already served in county jail for allegedly raping a 13 year old girl.
That was the deal handed to 19 year old Hamma Yusuf Jr. who has been in this country on a temporary visa.
On Friday, in Genesee County Court, Yusuf was allowed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of sexual misconduct.
He was originally charged with a felony count of first degree rape.
He spent 11 months in the county jail awaiting the disposition of his case.
Yusuf has been turned over to U S Immigration officials who could revoke his visa and deport him.

A Sexually Violent Child abuser found living with children in Batavia.
39 year old Christopher Campbell formerly of Bethany was allegedly found to be living with a woman and her three kids.
Campell is a level 2 sex offender.
Campbell was convicted of first degree sexual abuse in 2007 for sexually abusing a 10 year old and a 7 year old girl and was in violation of his probation by being around other children.
Judge Charles Zambito told Campbell he will revoke his probation and have him arrested if he is found around any children again.
He is expected back in County Court on September 19th.

The Batavia Blue Devils season opener will be played this afternoon at the Carrier Dome. The Blue Devils take on Johnson City.
