Two men have a date in Avon Town Court, after being accused of drunken irresponsibility while caring for a 12-year-old child.
19-year-old Brandon Cook of Avon is charged with Possession of Alcohol Under 21, after Sheriff’s deputies say he got so drunk Sunday at an Avon Motel, he had to be hospitalized. His friend, 26-year-old Dustin Collins of Scottsville, is accused of supplying the alcohol. He’s charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child.
The two men were reportedly playing host to a 12-year-old boy at the time. The boy’s mother, 47-year-old Valerie Judd of Avon, is charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child for leaving the boy “with no adequate supervision.”
All three will answer their charges in Avon Town Court.
