Amid a continually unfolding nuclear crisis in Japan, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has ordered a full safety check for the Indian Point nuclear power plant.
The plant located in Buchanan, about 24 miles north of New York City, is one of 104 nuclear plants operating in the United States.
