The City of Batavia would more than double its revenue from the Falleti Ice Arena under the terms of a new lease agreement.
The proposed lease is with Firland Management, the private company that runs the city owned rink. The city has been making about $7,000 a year on the deal. That amount will more than double under the new lease.
City Council is expected to approve the new lease at its next business meeting.

Voters in the Batavia City School District go to the polls today.
There is one item on the ballot - a yes or no vote on a proposed 3.9-million capital improvement project.
That project will result in improvements to VanDetta Stadium including an artificial field.
