Lawmen from Orleans and Monroe Counties bust four Rochester men for the sale and distribution of pot.
39-year-old Michael Arterberry of Rochester is facing three felony charges in Orleans County. He is locked up in lieu of $30,000 bail.
The other three suspects are behind bars in Monroe County.
Search warrants turned up $7,500 worth of pot, a handgun and $3,500 in cash.
The 3-month investigation was conducted by several police agencies in both Orleans and Monroe counties.
An Oakfield man is facing serious charges following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
22-year-oldf John Boyce of Maple Avenue, Oakfield, is accused of allegedly choking his girlfriend and refusing to let her leave a bedroom while holding their one year old son in his arms.
Police throughout Western New York are searching for two inmates who escaped from the Monroe County Jail.
35-year-old Eddie Palmer and 34-year-old Joseph Lee Mitchell escaped last night.
They are considered dangerous.
They may be heading to Georgia or Florida.
A Erie County Court jury found Riccardo McCray guilty of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of four partygoers last summer outside the City Grill in Buffalo
The jury deliberated seven hours before returning the verdict late last night.
The Erie County District Attorney says McCray will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
