Another “employee-since-the-beginning” will retire from Genesee Community College this year.
Along with President Dr. Stuart Steiner, Dean Michael Stoll will be leaving his post with the college after over 40 years of service. Stoll is currently the Dean of Math, Science & Career Education. He's also an Associate Vice-President for Academic Affairs.
According to spokeswoman Donna Rae Sutherland, Stoll has been with the college since the “Valu-College” days. That’s back where GCC began, in Batavia’s Valu Plaza on West Main Street.
Stoll started as an instructor, teaching courses in Marketing and Management, and worked his way to the top over his many years of service.
Michael Stoll resides in Bergen.
