A Fall River, Massachusetts man, currently living in a Town of Batavia motel, has been arrested on a charge of Second Degree Rape.
27-year-old Raymond Allard is accused of having sexual relations in Oakfield with a girl under the age of 15.
Typically, a charge of Rape in the Second Degree is placed when the act may not have been forced but victim is below the age of legal consent, authorities said.
Rape in the Second Degree is a felony. Following arraignment in Village of Oakfield Court, Allard sent to the Geensee County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
An earlier report from the Gensee County Sheriff's Office had said Allard was issued an appearance ticket in Village of Oakfield Court. That report was issued erroneously.
