The Iraq War veteran killed when he fell from a roller coaster at Darien Lake will be buried today at Arlington National cemetery.
Sgt. James Hackemer will be laid to rest with full military honors.
The 29-year-old father of two was killed on July 8th when he fell from the front car of the Ride of Steel roller coaster.
It was later determined that Sgt. Hackemer should never have been allowed on the ride in the first place. He had lost both legs in a roadside bomb explosion while serving in Iraq. He was released from Walter Reed Army Hospital in March after three years of rehabilitation.
His family is now suing Darien Lake.
