It cost them a trip into Batavia, but the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department got their man managed to gather enough evidence to charge a Darien man with in a residential theft.
20-year-old Michael Elmore of Sumner Road in Darien has been charged with two counts of Petit Larceny after deputies said he stole some items from a residence on Royce Road in Orangeville.
Here’s how they knew Elmore had the goods: he apparently pawned them, in Batavia.
Deputies recovered those items, and store employees also gave a good description of Elmore. He’s now been connected to another theft in Attica. He’ll be in court September 26th.
