The admitted accomplice in a meth lab bust in Byron will serve 5 years’ probation.
24-year-old Tricia Tundo received her sentence this morning in Genesee County Court. Tundo had previously pleaded guilty to Unlawful Disposal of Methamphetamine Materials back in July.
Today, Judge Robert Noonan noted that this is Tundo’s first criminal offense and spared her any jail time.
According to her attorney, Tundo is expecting a child in November.
Meanwhile, Tundo’s former housemate Matthew Zon has begun his prison sentence for Criminal Possession of Methamphetamine.
According to court records, the 29-year-old Zon was sentenced two weeks ago to a 3-year prison term, followed by 5 years probation.
As part of a plea deal, Zon also forfeited ownership of his 2005 Chevy pick-up truck. He and Tundo were stopped in that truck this spring as they tried to throw meth materials on the side of the road.
