Double death in Wyoming County.
Two people die in a three vehicle crash in the Town of Java.
It happened yesterday afternoon at the intersection of Route 98 and the Pee Dee Road.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies say the two people died at the scene before first responders could reach them.
No further information has been released.
Deputies are withholding the names of those killed pending notification of relatives.
Construction will begin next week on that new yogurt factory in the Town of Batavia.
Alpina Foods of Bogota, Columbia, has announced a ground breaking next Wednesday for their 28-thousand square foot facility.
The company is locating in the Genesee Valley Agri-Business Park next to the County Fairgrounds.
Alpina plans to initially employee 50 people.
The construction is expected to take 10 months, total price tag: $15-million. The company is receiving about $750,000 in tax incentives.

The chamber has partnered up with Tompkins Insurance to offer more options and plans for Chamber members.
Chamber President Lynn Freeman said the new arrangement will offer Chambers members more plans and reduced premiums. The chamber has offered health insurance plans to its members for several years.
The wave of protests inspired by the unrest on Wall Street the past few weeks is spreading across the country. Similar protests against the state of the economy and the level of joblessness are taking place in many cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Houston.
