A Batavia woman  wanted in connection with a pair of drug raids at Buffalo area strip clubs has been taken into custody, the FBI told WBTA News late on Thursday..
Cynthia Sims of Batavia was arraigned in U.S. District Court in Buffalo.  An FBI spokesman said the specific charges against Sims were not available, but were "consistent" with the chages placed against 25 other suspects arrested following the initial raids earlier this week.
The FBI on Tuesday raided two so-called gentleman’s clubs; Rick's Tall-Ho in Cheektowanga near the airport and 24KT Solid Gold in Hamburg.
The Buffalo News, quoting court papers, said both clubs were centers for a ring of heroin and cocaine dealers. Most of those arrested were charged with trafficking in heroin and cocaine.
