A Batavia man has been arrested for allegedly abusing a two-year-old.
40-year-old James Little Jr. has been arrested on three counts of Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree.
Batavia Police say Little allegedly molested the child over a three month period.
Little will be back in city court later this month.
Passengers on a Delta flight out of Buffalo Niagara International Aiport were delayed Wednesday due to an issue with a flight attendant. TSA officials say an officer at a security checkpoint noticed some irregular behavior out of the unidentified male flight attendant and called Delta Airline personnel. The flight attendant was ultimately escorted off the plane, which was delayed for three hours before finally taking off.
Catholic Charities has raised 83-percent of their goal for 20-12.
Sister Mary McCarrick says Genesee County has contributed over $200,000 of the figure.
She saids people of all faiths use the services of Catholic Charities which include counseling and programs to curb domestic violence.
A note to Route 77 motorists
The southbound lane of 77 between Route 33 and Cohocton will be closed for a month beginning today.
Crews are replacing a culvert, a detour will be posted.
Governor Andrew Cuomo remains popular with New York voters, though they aren't crazy about some of his governing methods. A new Quinnipiac University poll finds that Cuomo has a 68 percent approval rating among Empire State voters. However, 55 percent of respondents say the "closed door negotiations" used by Cuomo and top leaders in Albany to reach the budget deal were not needed.
