It’s Dyngus Day and Polish celebrations are going on across Western New York, here in Batavia people are at the Polish Falcons Nest gearing up for the clubs celebration of the holiday.
Patron Kristi Swiatowy said she’s wearing traditional red and waiting to eat some pierogi and polish sausage.
“I’m just waiting for the fun to start. It’s usually packed and everybody is having a good time buying drinks. There’s going to be a DJ at 6PM playing all kinds of music and it’s always a good time,” said Swiatowy.
Swaitowy said she’ll be dancing the night away. The Polish Falcons Nest is open until 1am for the celebration.
