A Wyoming County man is accused of sexually abusing a child.
18-year-old Kenneth Green of Wethersfield is charged with two felony counts of Sexual Abuse in the first degree and Endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges came after police say he had inappropriate sexual contact with a child under the age of 11.
Green was released from custody after posting $10,000 bail.
A felony charge of drunk driving has been placed against a Bergen woman.
37-year-old Carrie Mahon of Townline Road, Bergen, was involved in a one car accident on Route 98 in Elba.
Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated and charged Mahon with Felony DWI, refusing to take a breath test and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Mahon was jailed in lieu of $1,000 bail.
Americans could soon be heading to Canada to visit Ontario's brothels, and it would all be legal. A recent Ontario court ruling could lead to brothels operating in the same buildings as strip clubs in several areas along the U.S.-Canadian border, including Niagara Falls and Fort Erie. The Ontario Court of Appeal basically decriminalized brothels in the province, beginning as early as next year.
Governor Andrew Cuomo's job approval rating has hit an all-time high.
A Siena College poll found that Cuomo's job approval rating now sits at an unprecedented 63 percent.
The poll also found U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand likely to cruise to a re-election victory later this year, with the Democrat leading her three main Republican challengers by at least 40 points.
Rick Santorum has suspended his presidential campaign, but he'll still appear on New York's primary ballot later this month.
Santorum's campaign has until seven days before the primary to send certified notice that he withdrawing from the race.
At that point, any votes he might receive on Primary Day will be declared null and void.
