The lead suspect in the Five Star Bank robbery that happened in Pavillion on Friday, April 6th has been arrested.

The suspect, Jonathan Mills along with four other men were arrested in Westchester County. The five men are suspects in several robberies across the state.

Genesee County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Jerry Brewster said Mills is the man local law enforcement believe was in survaillence footage holding up the bank in Pavillion.

“The people that are in custody are not talking, I’m given the understanding that some evidence has been seized pursuant to a search warrant and I have sent information down there to see if there is anything that would be of benefit to our investigation here. I do not have charges pending at this time, I’m waiting on some finger prints results and hopefully by the end of the week will be making an arrest in that case,” said Brewster.

Brewster said police are not sure if the other four men arrested are involved in the Pavilion robbery. He said police believe at least some of them were, because they were all taken into custody with Mills.

DNA evidence could prove their involvement.

Good work by cops that they have solved this case faster and arrested the criminal before they do another crime. Now it's all depends on DNA evidence that prove that other are also involved in this robbery or not.
