A Batavia High School student wins congressional district art competition. Sophomore Siena Pullinzi won the competition with her self portrait drawn with pencil, watercolor and ink.
Over 800 residents of the 26th Congressional District voted in this year’s art competition.
Congresswoman Kathy Hochul said she is proud of Pullinzi for her artistic creativity. Hochul noted Pullinzi's artwork will be displayed in the capitol next year.
The Congressional Art Competition was created to recognize and encourage artistic talent in High Schools across the nation.
