Batavia Police tell a bizarre tale this morning of an uninvited overnight guest.
Homeowners on North Spruce Street awoke last Tuesday to find this guy, they did not know, sleeping in an upstairs bedroom and wearing only a t-shirt.
The rest of his clothes were later found in another bedroom where a five-year old child was sleeping. The child was not hurt.
The unwelcome intruder has been identified as 21-year-old Brandon Maldonado of Spencer Court, Batavia. He’s been charged with burglary, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of pot.
Police say it appeared Maldonado entered the house sometime during the night so drunk, he didn’t know where he was.
Maldonado is locked up without bail.
