Batavia High School’s Tri-M Music honors society is putting on a talent show Tuesday night. Proceeds from the show will go to Batavia middle school student Brandon Johns.
Johns has been battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma since last fall. There have been a few fundraisers for Johns so far this year.
High School Music Teacher and Show Organizer Daniel Grillo said this is Tri-M’s turn to do their part and help their fellow Batavian.
“It’s really a chance for both faculty and staff to do things musically that we really don’t get a chance to do in our normal curricular ensembles and that type of thing. It’s a chance for kids to do some more popular oriented music in a solo or in a small ensemble setting and the kids really get up beat for that type of thing,” said Grillo.
Get your tickets at the door for $3. The talent show will begin at 7p.m. at the Batavia middle school.
