In Buffalo, a 33-year old woman was killed in a shooting on the grounds of Erie County Medical Center Wednesday morning around 8a.m.
Witnesses reported that four shots were fired in the D.K. Miller building which is adjacent to the main tower of ECMC.
The whole ECMC campus was locked down for most of the morning and mercy flights we're being re-routed to Buffalo General Hospital.
As of 1p.m. Wednesday the hospital campus was re-opened except for the Miller Building.
Buffalo Police said they are still looking for the suspect, 49-year old Timothy Jorden.
33-year old Jackie Wisnieski was killed in a shooting on the grounds of ECMC Wednesday morning.
Wisnieski a mother of one, was a clerk at ECMC studying to be a nurse.
Police are still looking for the man who allegedly shot Wisnieski, 49-year old Timothy Jorden who is a surgeon at ECMC.
Authorities in Erie County were on the scene at a home in Lakeview as of 4:45p.m. Wednesday looking for Jorden. It hasn’t been confirmed yet whether that is where Jorden resides.
