Its official, Merrill Lynch is open in Batavia.A ribbon cutting took place Monday morning at the brokerage firm’s new branch in Masse Place.
Resident Director Joshua Dent said the new office is fully functional and open for business.
"I think one of the things that we are excited about is plugging back into the community that many of us who have lived here why they have continued to be involved in the community, it’s been tougher as they have had 50 minute commute to downtown buffalo to work and now they have additional hours now that we are spending commute time to be back and plugged into the community and more importantly being face to face with the client who we are doing business with,"said Dent.
Due to a number of circumstances many financial planners were removed from the area, but kept in contact with their local clientele from the Merrill Lynch location in downtown Buffalo.
Dent said they are very happy to be re-connected with they’re local clients and they’re ready to serve the community.
