A crop dusting plane crashed in the town of Alexander Thursday.
The accident was reported around 10:30 a.m. by the pilot himself 48-year old Louis Christie.
Christie was flying over a wooded area off Brookville road near Cook road, spraying crops, when he tried to avoid power lines and ended up crashing into the trees.
Christie was completely unharmed as the plane was destroyed.
Tim Yager is the Coordinator with Emergency Management Services.
He said there were initial hazmat concerns after the plane crashed, but the fuel and crop dusting materials did not leak out of the plane, so the enviromental conservation department confirmed that there was no environmental impact.
The F.A.A has completed its investigation and no date was set as to when the plane will be removed from the woods.
