U.S. Senator Charles Schumer wants to make it easier for the Bills to remain in Buffalo. Schumer has sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell asking the league to relax the criteria for the NFL's G-4 money-matching loan program for stadium upgrades.
Renovations for Ralph Wilson Stadium are reportedly going to cost upwards of 200-million dollars, and there is fear that the next owners of the Bills could up and move the team if renovations aren't done. Local leaders have been asking the state to pick up the costs of such renovations.
