A missing boater on a Livingston County lake has been found dead.
Police say 30-year-old Nathan Dunbar's body was found by state police divers in Hemlock Lake yesterday, a day after his canoe capsized.
Investigators say Dunbar was canoeing with his fiancée when the boat tipped at about 6 p.m. Saturday.  The woman was able to make it to shore, but Dunbar went under.  The woman wandered through the undeveloped shoreline for hours until she finally arrived at a home on Route 15A, to call for help.
Volunteers searched the grounds but it wasn't until daylight that divers could enter the water to make the grim discovery.  Police say the couple had been to the lake often and knew the area very well.  Authorities say neither was wearing a life vest, but they were trying to cling to one which fell out of the boat with them.
