A Batavia man who escaped injury during a brutal car accident is now facing DWI charges. 57-year old Keith Stevens was driving on South Holley Road in Orleans County Sunday night when his car failed to negotiate a curve.
His Pontiac Grand Prix caught on fire after he hit a sign, a utility pole and a tree before coming to a rest. Stevens safely escaped without a scratch, but now he faces DWI charges and traffic violations.
He will answer to the charges on September 10th in Clarendon Town Court.
