Batavia is looking for a new fire chief.
The city ran an ad in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle over the weekend, soliciting for applications for the position of Fire Chief..
The city is offering a salary between $68,000 and $82,350 per year.
The ad states that the city wants someone, "who is not afraid of change."
City Manager Jason Molino explainswhat was meant by that statement
Fire Chief Ralph Hyde came out of retirement and accepted the job last year on a temporary basis.
