A small fire erupted after a driver hit a gas pump in Livingston County Monday morning. The accident happened at around 8 o'clock at Wilson Farms located on Main Street and Leicester Road in Caledonia.

Caledonia Fire Officials say the driver, who only had a learners permit, mistakenly hit the accelerator rather than the brake and the crash nearly caused an explosion. Mumford fire and Caledonia fire immediately controlled the small blaze.

No one was injured. The woman driving will be charged for driving without a license.
