Two men were sentenced in the shooting death of a Batavia resident. 21-year old Brandon Harper was sentenced 25 years to life in prision in Erie County Court Tuesday.
Harper was convicted of 1st degree murder back in July for shooting 35-year old Joseph Hale of Batavia to death. Police said Harper and his accomplice 26-year old Kevin Milon lured Hale onto Edna and Ellicott Streets in Buffalo where they planned to rob him.
Hale was shot in the back by Harper while trying to escape. Milon plead guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
