A Batavia man is accused of displaying a knife after Wal-Mart employees suspected he was stealing. 25-year old Andrew Perdock has been charged with menacing and attempted petit larceny. He allegedly tried to steal merchandise from Wal-Mart by concealing the items in his back pack and when employees confronted him allegedly displayed the knife. Perdock has also been charged with petit larceny for allegedly stealing from Tops Markets.
A Batavia woman has been charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Batavia Police responded to a report of an alleged physical altercation and found 22-year old Samantha Bolles agitated and irate. Patrol man say she was pushing them and struggled before being taken into custody. She will answer to the charges in Batavia City Court at a later date.
30-year old Brian Lambert of Batavia is accused of stealing scrap metal from Arctic Refrigeration on Cedar Street. He has been charged with petit larceny and trespass. Lambert will answer to the charge at a later date.
38-year old Kristine Szumigala of Batavia is accused of shoplifting from Dollar General on East Main Street. She has been charged with petit larceny.
A woman with no permanent address is accused of shoplifting from Tops in Batavia. 30-year old. Alexis Czaja has been charged with petit larceny. She will answer to the charge in BataviaCity court at a later date.
