Voters in the Batavia City School District overwhelmingly approved the sale of the district’s Washington Avenue administration building.
Over 95 percent of the votes cast, were in favor of the sale.
The actual vote was 272 in favor, 13 voted no.
The building will be sold to Reed Eye Associates for $500,000.
Reed plans to turn the building into an outpatient eye surgery center.
School officials expect the deal to close by November 1.
