A Batavia woman has been charged with grand larceny. Lori Mullen is accused of taking checks of an acquaintance, forging the checks and then cashing them. Mullen allegedly received more than $5,000. She was released under supervision of Genesee Justice.
Two Batavia teenagers have been charged with trespass. 18-year-old Ryan Bartholomew and 19-year-old Kyle Bump allegedly entered a private property on Kelsey Road in Batavia without permission and caused car alarms to sound with the intent of disturbing the property owner.
A Batavia woman was sent to jail on several charges. 37-year-old Cynthia Owens of Buell Street was locked up last night after police say she forced her way into a Ross Street apartment…damaging the door. Owens hit the resident there in the presence of a child. Bail is set at 15-hundred dollars.
A man with no permanent address accused of trashing facilities at the Liberty Square Office Complex back in July has been charged. 32-year-old Bradley Broadbent is facing criminal mischief, trespass, burglary and petit larceny charges. He also allegedly stole a pair of shorts and a Buffalo Bills blanket from a separate location on Tracy Street in Batavia.
