A significant amount of marijuana has been discovered in Perry.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Pilots were on a routine mission when the discovered the bountiful plants from the air and alerted the Wyoming County Sheriff Deputies.
Officers seized 129 plants today, most over six feet tall. The estimated value is $75,000.
This type of discovery of marijuana plants isn’t too rare. Due to the aviation efforts of U.S Customs and Border Protection Pilots, officers have confiscated over 800 marijuana plants within WyomingCounty this year.
The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and the Wyoming County Drug Task Force are still investigating.
