Talks regarding the Buffalo Bills’ lease agreement continue to progress; but there is no official timetable regarding the completion of negotiations.
Lieutenant Governor Robert Duffy was in Buffalo yesterday. He called the discussions between New York State, the Bills and Erie County “productive.”
The Bills’ lease at Ralph Wilson Stadium expires in July.
The issues revolving around the lease negotiations include who is responsible for paying the estimated 220-million dollars in renovations needed to the 39-year-old stadium.
Both New York and ErieCounty want assurances that the Bills will remain in Buffalo for years to come.
