A Pavilion man is charged following a one-car accident this morning.
26-year-old Christopher Barbis is facing a property damage motor vehicle accident charge after his car struck a National Grid utility pole when he fell asleep while driving.
Barbis was driving south on Route 246 at 2:23 AM in the Town of Covington when the accident occurred. Barbis was uninjured, but his car sustained major front-end damage.
Barbis is set to appear in the Town of Covington Court on November 12th.
