Two Albion residents are accused of running a marijuana and prescription drug operation.

Randy Wyant Senior and Janis Fitzwater – both 49 years old -- are facing charges Wednesday, after a three-month long investigation.

Multiple agencies executed a search warrant on Eagle Harbor Road.

Authorities say they found over $7,000 worth of high-grade marijuana and prescription drugs in the home – as well as scales, packaging, three long guns and over $3,000 in cash.

Wyant Senior is facing 20 total charges for criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Fitzwater was charged on 17 similar counts.

Both Wyant Senior and Fitzwater were arraigned in court. They were committed to the Orleans County Jail and are expected back in court on Oct. 19.
