A woman admitted in Genesee County Court Tuesday that she was drunk the night she drove into her sister’s parked car.
27-year-old Nichole McKerrow pleaded guilty to aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law and aggravated unlicensed operation.
McKerrow pleaded guilty with the agreement that she receive no more than six months in jail and five years probation. Judge Robert Noonan set sentencing for Feb. 4.
McKerrow was driving a '03 Cadillac the night of July 17 when she pulled into her sister’s house where she was living, and struck the car. Police found her passed out with her children, ages 3 and 5, wandering around inside the car.
A Pavilion woman charged two times in two counties with DWI with children in the car was given a chance to complete a supervision program to avoid straight jail time.
Andrea Kruse, 40, pleaded guilty to aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law Tuesday in Genesee County Court.
Kruse faces no more than an intermittent jail term and probation if she complies with the requirements of the supervision.
Kruse was first arrested and charged with aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law in LeRoy June 22.
She was arrested again in the town of Covington on Sept. 8.
