Politicians made sure to get out to vote this morning. Governor Andrew Cuomo cast his ballot at the Mount Kisco Presbyterian Church -- an area where many residents are still without power in Sandy's aftermath.
Senator Kirsten Gillibrand cast her vote near her home outside Albany at a firehouse in Troy. Gillibrand is expected to easily win re-election against Republican challenger Wendy Long. Gillibrand will hold an election night party in New York City this evening.
Congresswoman Kathy Hochul voted at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hamburg and challenger Chris Collins cast his ballot in Clarence.
