A Brooklyn man is facing a felony charge of bribing a public official.
20-year-old Christian Nykian was one of four people accused of trespassing at College Village. Police discovered Nykian had an arrest warrant from the state of Virginia and he gave police a false name.
According to the police report, Nykian then offered a trooper “all the money in his pockets to make it all go away.”
Troopers said he had about $200.
Nykian was charged with third-degree bribery of a public servant -- a class D felony punishable by up to seven years -- and misdemeanor counts of false personation and obstruction of governmental administration.
Nykian was arraigned in Town Court and committed to Genesee County Jail without bail.
