Batavia City Manager Jason Molino this afternoon revealed his proposed budget for the city's next fiscal year.
The spending plans calls for total expentitures of $22.1-million. The budget, if adopted in its present form, would result in a tax rate of $10.50 per $1,000 of assessed valuation, an increase of 3.07-percent over last fiscal year.
The budget now moves on to City Council for review. The Council can amend the budget line by line resulting in an increase or decrease in the tax rate. The budget must be adopted by March 31.
