A suspected Batavia drug dealer is facing felony charges.
26-year-old Cody Bush was named in a sealed Grand Jury Indictment accusing him of selling Hydrcodone, Oxycodone and other drugs to undercover agents of the Local Drug Task Force on three separate occasions.
Just last month, Bush began a 1 to 4 year sentence in state prison on a felony conviction of driving while his ability was impaired by drugs.

He was given a second chance and blew it.
That summed up the case against 23-year-old Benjamin Santiago.
He was sentenced yesterday to 2 and a half years in prison for drug possession and parole violation.
Santiago had been granted a deal that would have resulted in no jail time if he completed a substance abuse program and appeared in court when he was supposed to.
Santiago didn’t do either one.
He was originally arrested at a Batavia motel in June of 2011 along with two other men. Police confiscated 74 bags of heroin and cocaine.

A Buffalo teenager charged in the burning of a Jack Russell terrier puppy last month says his uncle is the person responsible for the crime.  Seventeen-year-old Diondre Brown says he tried to stop his 19-year-old uncle, Adell Ziegler, from burning the puppy.  Brown made the accusation against his uncle in a jail house interview with the Buffalo News.
Police say both teens abused the dog for weeks leading up to the October 29th burning and each is now blaming the other.

The Route 98 lift bridge over the Erie Canal in Albion has reopened - with a condition.
The bridge was closed earlier this month when officials said it was no longer safe to carry traffic.
The bridge is now open with a 9-ton weight limit until more tests can be completed.

Hunting season is underway and the State Department of Environmental Conservation has some good news: Because of the mild winter, the DEC predicts there will be more deer this season.
In the last two years, hunters across the state took in about 230,000 deer, and that number will rise this season.
The DEC numbers however don’t account for where a deer is located. Large populations of deer could be found on land hunters are prohibited from.
