A loud party on Summit Street in Batavia leads to criminal charges.
33-year-old Dashawn Butler is facing unlawful dealing with a child, criminal nuisance and unreasonable noise charges.
Batavia Police say they answered a complaint of a loud party at 101 Summit and found several people there under the age of 21 drinking alcohol.
Butler was remanded to County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Police say there was a similar incident at the same house in October.
A 20-year-old Batavia man is facing criminal charges after getting into an argument Sunday morning.
Kasean Shannon of State Street is facing charges of criminal obstruction of breathing and harassment for allegedly choking and menacing a woman with a knife. He was remanded to County Jail with bail set at $7,500.

A Batavia teen is facing several charges after allegedly engaging in a physical altercation with another person in the presence of a child.
18-year-old Curtis Doward of Ganson Avenue is charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Doward was also allegedly found in possession of marijuana.
A LeRoy woman accused of shutting off the phone service of another person is facing a criminal impersonation charge.
20-year-old Sara Brown allegedly contacted the telephone company used by another person and cancelled that person’s service last month. Brown is due in court Dec. 10.
Two Bergen teens are facing charges for allegedly driving through a plowed field early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at about 4:15 in the morning on Parkview Drive. They allegedly were both in possession of marijuana and the driver of the car was intoxicated.
Both are charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and the driver with DWI. They are set to appear in Town Court Jan. 2.
