New York State may owe you some money.
Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli says the state is carrying 9.9-billion dollars in unclaimed funds, and Albany wants to pay it back.
DiNapoli has scheduled a number of events across the state for New Yorkers to find out if they’re owed any money. The closest one to Genesee County will be held next month at Rochester’s Lilac Festival from May 21st through the 23rd. That’s at Highland Park in the city (address below).
