A bullet shot through a residence in Darien comes within a foot of striking an occupant’s head.
The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident yesterday in which a bullet was fired through a home on Broadway Road between Tinkham Road and Route 77. Deputies say it was a .45-caliber sabot slug, commonly used on rifle-barreled shotguns.
No injuries were reported and damage to the home is estimated at $1,000.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call 343-5000.
