A Batavia man is facing a new charge for allegedly taking a 16-year-old girl out of state.

Timothy Logsdon, 29, of Dewey Avenue is being held in the Federal Detention Center here in Batavia.

The latest charge of endangering the welfare of a child, stems from Logsdon’s original arrest back in September. Logsdon is accused of taking the teen girl out of the state for the purpose of engaging in sexual conduct. The two were found in Bowling Green, Ky. at the end of September.

The investigation began with a complaint by the girl’s parents to authorities.
