Soaring buyer demand is helping to drive up home sales in Western New York.
According to the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors, sales were up 23.4 percent last October and 16.3 percent in September. As a result of the strong demand, prices are improving as well. The median price for a home in Western New York is up nearly four percent to $120,000 . Prices have gone up nearly every month since March.
