The Sabres have announced ticketing procedures with a compacted NHL season set to get underway later this month.

Sabres officials say season ticket holders will likely be receiving their tickets in the mail in stages, as teams wait on the league to come up with a schedule following the lockout.

Regardless, individual game tickets are set to go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m.

The next question for ticket buyers is when the shortened season is going to start. There has been no official announcement, but the Buffalo News reports the Sabres are expected to play the Flyers on Jan. 20 as their season opener.
