Catholic Diocese of Buffalo Bishop Richard Malone is set to ordain the region's first married Roman Catholic priest this coming weekend.

Malone Saturday will ordain John Cornelius, a former Episcopal priest who converted to Catholicism with his wife two years ago.

Cornelius is being accepted into the clergy under a stipulation by Pope Benedict last year that welcomes Episcopalians and Anglicans into the Catholic Church.

After being ordained, Cornelius will lead a small group of former Anglicans who worship at a Catholic church in Henrietta.

Unbelievable! What a revolution in the Catholic Church! Pope, open the door and liberate those in bondage who wish to marry and yet remain priests. you will be applauded both in heaven and on earth. God bless you.
